Conan Neutron & The Secret Friends bring weird riffs and blues influences on the new song “Sharks Keep Moving.” It’s an anthem about the resilience of those apex predators that everyone hates. The concept of power animals is a good thing to keep us focused and feeling confident. People usually choose mammals: tigers, lions, wolves — that ancient shark brain leaves little to empathize with. If you are so unfamilar with your emotions that you see the world as only hostile, you’re going to shape yourself into something aggressive and anti-love.
Conan Neutron & The Secret Friends are from Milwaukee, and the song “Sharks Keep Moving” is from their new album, The Way Of The Neutron. Conan and the band will be playing in Japan and the U.S. in April through June.
