In their energetic new video for the single “The Breaks” punk rockers Chaser harness their formidable guitar-based power into a message about perseverance. Though the tune explores some of the trials and misadventures that everyone will inevitably face, the first verse signals the message:
“Well, I know I’ll get it right/But I’ll stumble on the way/With a constant fear of what’s beyond the day/ And I know I can’t get off this ride/It doesn’t matter where I land/I’ll just do the best I can and I’ll be alright”

By cultivating optimism, Chaser presents the possibility of moving forward through inevitable adversity, an attitude also found on their previous album, Dreamers, from 2021.
Hailing from Southern California, Chaser features Mike LeDonne on vocals, Jesse Stopnitzky on bass and vocals, Bill Hockmuth on guitars, and Davey Guy on drums. “The Breaks” is the first single from their upcoming album, Small Victories, a 13 track release produced by Cameron Webb (Motörhead, Pennywise, Alkaline Trio) and recorded at Maple Sound Studios in Santa Ana, California. The stunning album artwork was created by Sebas Theriault at Sterio Design.
On April 19, Chaser will perform at Coast Mesa’s Tiki Bar to commemorate the third anniversary of Dreamers. Starting in July, Chaser will embark on a European tour, bringing their live show to crowds in Austria, Germany, Belgium, and Italy.
Chaser are on Thousand Islands Records in the U.S., SBAM Records in Europe, and Pee Records in Australia.
