With provocative lyrics and post modern poetic lyrics describing rebellion against domination, “Incense & Aries” by Atomic Life is kickass post grunge tune that leans into commerciality. In the gorgeous video directed by Tom Flynn, Adea Frances positively simmers as she delivers her emotionally charged, if cryptic, lines:

Atomic Life is a brand new super group comprised of stars from the New York punk scene. Billy Rymer (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Ho9099, and Thoughtcrimes) pounds the drums while the fierce and warmly distorted guitar of Cody Hosza (Glassjaw) delivers killer riffs, in tight, funky synchronization with the bass of Michael Sadis (HK). Newcomer Frances is a valuable asset with powerful vocals and an a charismatic presence that brings Atomic Life to the next level while she steals the show. And her lyrics? Dark, abstract poetry.
